Stonework Boone

One of the reasons we deliver some of the best stonework in the Boone area is the specialty tools we employ in our projects.  We use traditional stoneworking tools made in a small factory in Vermont, and they are unique because of the carbide blades and edges that improve their longevity and performance.

Today I received an order of new tools and couldnt be more proud.  The hammers and chisels represent a significant investment for my company, but they will serve us for years to come, and help ensure we deliver the best possible product to my clients.

Next time try The Stone Center of Carolina. It's located between Durham and Raleigh. They are a very large yard and owned by the G.E. Schofield corp. who own several quarrys and ship daily. However, even they have delays at times. Thin veneer is becoming more popular and the saw yards are backed up. If you call The Stone Center, try to talk to Pat Lynne, he is "the man" there.

Nice Post...Stone is one of the most useful, natural elements on our green earth. Early residents used stone throughout the years for building homes, creating the wheel for mobility, and for record keeping using a crude engraving process.
