After 3 1/2 weeks of living on the road, we returned safely yesterday afternoon.  We have seen amazing sights, met wonderful people everywhere, and most importantly, honed our drystone skills in anticipation of the upcoming DSWA certification as part of the Asheville Stone Symposium in September.

Construction of this 5' high "cheek end" was my main accomplishment of the workshop.

Part of the workshop was creating an ephemeral piece of environmental art.

We made a stop in NYC to check out amazing architecture like this 100 year old granite municipal building.
I hope you enjoyed the pictures which are really just a sample of what we saw did and learned.  If you would like to know more about English Harbour Arts Centre (EHAC), the stone maze, or Dan Snow, check out these links.

Canada truly has numerous eye soothing attractions such as Huntsville, Kitchener, Niagara Falls, Ottawa and some very beautiful lakes at Ontario, Erie, and Huron, which are the huge reservoir of fresh water and the place of unbelievable recreation that makes it a hub of attractive lakes. Also there are many natural as well as historic and cultural landmarks too.

However, by year’s end, GE will no longer control NBC—it will be run by the Roberts family that has a major stake of Comcast, which could mark a major shift.
